Each decant is freshly hand-filled from an original, authentic, unaltered fragrance bottle. We do not dilute, modify, or reproduce fragrances. You receive the original fragrance transferred into a convenient spray atomizer.

A fragrance decant is a smaller amount of authentic fragrance transferred from its original bottle into a separate spray atomizer. It lets you test a scent on your skin, experience its full dry-down, or carry a travel-friendly amount without purchasing the full bottle.

Unless a product is specifically listed as a full bottle, your fragrance will arrive in a clear, labeled spray atomizer—not the manufacturer's original retail bottle. Every decant is freshly filled to order. Our 2 mL, 3 mL, 5 mL, and 10 mL spray bottles include caps.

2 mL — Quick Introduction: Best for getting an initial impression of a fragrance.

3 mL — Explore More: Gives you additional wears across different days or occasions.

5 mL — Recommended Choice: The best balance of value and wear time for most customers. It gives you enough fragrance to properly evaluate the opening, dry-down, longevity, and performance over multiple wears.

10 mL — Wear & Enjoy: Best for fragrances you already enjoy or want in a convenient travel size.

The exact number of sprays varies slightly by fragrance and atomizer, but you can generally expect:

• 2 mL: approximately 25–30 sprays
• 3 mL: approximately 40–45 sprays
• 5 mL: approximately 65–75 sprays
• 10 mL: approximately 140–160 sprays

These estimates give you enough opportunities to test a fragrance across multiple wears, settings, and weather conditions. For the best balance of value and testing time, we recommend 5 mL.

Fragrance is personal. A scent that receives great reviews—or smells excellent on someone else—might perform differently on your skin. Sampling lets you evaluate the opening, dry-down, longevity, projection, and overall wearability before making a larger purchase.

All decants are hand-filled from original, authentic fragrance bottles and prepared with care. The original bottles used for decanting are stored in a climate-controlled environment to help preserve fragrance quality.

The original bottles shown may be actively used to fill customer orders. A partially used bottle simply reflects prior decanting. The fragrance is never diluted, altered, or modified.

Every order is freshly decanted to order rather than stored pre-filled for extended periods. Orders are typically prepared within 2–3 business days. During busier periods, handling may take 4–5 business days. Tracking information is sent after your order ships.

U.S. shipping is $4.99 flat rate. Orders over $35 ship free.

A back-ordered item is temporarily unavailable for immediate shipment. Back-ordered products typically restock within 3–14 days, although timing can vary. An order containing a back-ordered item may be held until all items are available so the complete order can ship together.

First, check the carrier's tracking page for the latest information. Tracking can occasionally take time to update after a shipping label is created. If the shipment appears stuck or is marked delivered but you have not received it, contact Decant Direct so we can review the situation with you.

This can occur when a shipping address is incomplete or undeliverable. After the returned package reaches Decant Direct, we will contact you within 3–4 business days to confirm or update the address before arranging reshipment.
