We want our collection to reflect what fragrance lovers truly want to wear.
That is why Decant Direct accepts fragrance requests. Your request helps us learn which bottles customers want us to add next.
We look at more than trends. We also pay attention to scents that are:
- Hard to sample
- Sold out at other decant stores
- New to the market
- No longer easy to find
- Missing from most sample collections
- Requested by more than one customer
This helps us build a useful collection instead of buying bottles just because they are popular online.
What Fragrances Can You Request?
You can suggest almost any fragrance you want to try.
Designer Fragrances
Designer scents come from well-known fashion and beauty houses. You can request a popular fragrance, a new flanker, an older formula, or a scent that is hard to find in stores.
Niche Fragrances
Niche bottles can cost hundreds of dollars. They may also smell very different on skin than they do on paper.
Sampling first can protect you from an expensive mistake. If there is a Niche scent you want us to consider, send us the name.
Middle Eastern and Inspired By Fragrances
Middle Eastern fragrance houses release many new scents each year. Some are inspired by popular Designer or Niche fragrances. Others have their own style.
A bottle may be affordable, but that does not mean it will work for you. These fragrances can be strong, sweet, spicy, smoky, or rich. A small sample lets you test the scent before adding another full bottle to your shelf.
Women’s Fragrances
We are growing our women’s collection. Requests help us decide which floral, fruity, sweet, clean, warm, and bold scents to add first.
If there is a women’s fragrance you want to see at Decant Direct, we especially want to hear from you.
Discontinued and Hard-to-Find Fragrances
Some fragrances are no longer made. Others have been changed, renamed, or removed from stores.
We may not be able to find every discontinued bottle. Still, your request tells us which older scents are worth watching for from trusted sources.
What Should You Include in Your Request?
Give us as much detail as you can.
Include:
- The fragrance name
- The fragrance house or brand
- The concentration, such as EDT, EDP, Parfum, or Elixir
- The exact version or flanker
- Whether you want a sample, travel spray, or full bottle
- Any other details that can help us find the correct scent
Exact details matter. Two bottles can have nearly the same name but smell very different.
For example, an EDT may be lighter and fresher than an EDP. An Elixir may be darker, sweeter, and stronger than the original. The bottle size or year can also matter when a formula has changed.
What Happens After You Submit a Request?
We record the fragrance and review it as a possible addition.
Before buying a bottle, we may check:
- How many customers have requested it
- Whether fragrance lovers are actively looking for it
- Whether samples are hard to find
- Whether we can buy an authentic bottle from a trusted source
- Whether we can offer useful sample sizes at a fair price
Requests from several customers receive more attention. A strong request may also move higher on our list if other decant stores are sold out.
Does a Request Guarantee That We Will Stock It?
No. A request is not a preorder or a promise to buy.
We cannot add every fragrance. Some bottles are too expensive, unavailable, discontinued, or difficult to verify. Others may not make sense to offer as samples.
However, every request counts. If enough customers request the same fragrance and we can source an authentic bottle at a fair price, it may become part of the Decant Direct collection.
You are not required to purchase it if we add it.
Why Request a Sample Instead of Blind Buying?
A list of fragrance notes cannot tell you the whole story.
Skin, weather, and time can change the way a fragrance smells. A scent may open with bright fruit and dry down into heavy woods. A sweet perfume may feel smooth on one person and too rich on another.
A sample gives you time to answer the questions that matter:
- Do I enjoy the opening?
- Does it smell good on my skin?
- Is it too strong or too soft?
- How does it change after several hours?
- Would I wear it often?
- Is the full bottle worth my money?
